Violin Maker’s Philosphy Basics


Czes, originator of violin making and repair shop in the family, says:

“I’ve been dreaming about violins for years. So in 1990, being a Physicist at Vilnius University, I decided to pursue this romantic dream of being a violin maker.

It took me quite a long time of active search to find a place, where I could get basics of violin making and maintenance.

After a period of apprenticeship with Jan Pawlikowski, the best Polish violin maker, I opened a small shop in Vilnius – capital city of Lithuania.

My grand vision has materialized and the dream has came true!”
Traveling through the way of life, we have often faced two contradictory phrases.
